Maybe I've posted my opinions of this ablum before, but I just bought it today and am listening to it for the first time since the 80's.
Amazing album. More than the musical integrity of it, its a landmark. Its a document of the deathknell of the 60's, recorded at the height of the Regan/Bush kickback. But its also marks the beginning of today's society. Just listen to the lyrics of the first song, man. |

The guitar hasn't been too bad. I mostly play bass, so I can work the trigger with my fingers like I normally would

Last week I went into the video game store while dunk and bought Beatles rock band. It fucking kicks ass. I love the drum tutor. I FUCKING LOVE playing the drums on the Beatles Rock Band! If I had it at my place, I'd be on those fuckin' things every day when I got home from work. Have you made it through the game yet? There are some fucking incredible psychedelic kaleidoscopic graphics on some of those songs... No, I haven't made it far. Lately, I only have enough energy to tap through a few beats, but I love the game. I also have to contend with my wife bogarting the drum kit, but since she likes the practice beats, I just pick up my real guitar and jam along I had a hard time adjusting to the guitar controller because I want to play it like a real guitar. My solution was to flip it over and play left-handed. Oddly enough, it works better for me that way. |
